Possible tagger for the tagging marathon? ⟨User:Fynnjamin [#10570]

Hi Fynnjamin have you possibly taken a look at the tagging marathon post I put on the forums (in the Announcements)? We could really use someone like you to help out for the July event (We are starting July 1st)! Plus your here on here quite a bit of late so I don't see a problem putting a little extra work everyday I hope! If your interested, please put your name on the thread!

Thanks Fynn! I wonder come July, which music periods are you best at tagging? Is it Baroque period and classical? We definitely could use you to focus on these two periods if possible since they are a couple of our largest!

Hey Fynn thanks for tagging a massive amount so early! Just want to add a few things to your editing roster. Can you make sure all the instrumentation is in lower case and for the keys, add in this code

{{key|X (or x}}

"X" is for major keys and "x" is for minor keys Add "b" for flat keys like B-flat major, and "#" for sharp keys. This will help use a long ways.

Also make sure to capitalize "Complete Score, Complete Parts, etc. in the file description for pages that are lower case. Thanks!

OK, will start on that too. Perhaps time for a little break for the hands and eyes first!

Good idea! You don't have to do so much but thanks anyway! The reason for the above changes is several other wiki editors on here are using these standards above and I and several other would like to set certain standards for workpages from now on to abide by.

makes sense to have some consistency.

also one more thing, make sure there is no "and" in the instrumentation, delete this except for solo and orchestral works, keep the "and" in its place like: piano and orchestra or violin and orchestra. This is because of the big extra forces for the orchestra.

"Piano" for solo piano works is a notorious one that is capitalized on thousands of these pages on here for instrumentation, keep them lower case.

One more thing (sorry!), make sure to delete any "Catalogue" numbers like ", Op.24" in the "Work Title Field". This is because it is repeating itself with the "Catalogue Number" field and there is no reason really to have this. Delete this if it is there (with the comma afterwards), only have the full title of the work on this field in particular. Feldmahler is going to hopeful change this when creating new workpages to have this removed from the worktitle field.

I might put these things down for the other volunteers of the tagging marathon next month to watch for.

Hi Fynn I see you have tagged some of Ortiz's Recercada. I am not sure about some of these after reviewing through them on the composer's catalogue page. There are some untagged works in the list for the Recercada. Would you mind going through these and see if you can tag all of them? There are not that many to tag actually. Here is his page:
