Tagging ⟨User:Fynnjamin [#31930]

Hi there,
I have a little favour to ask: during clean-up, maintenance, via the watchlist, etc. I stumble now and then over changes (tagging of work pages) done by users, although they shoudnd't do that. I used to write B. Steltz, however currently she has to settle other things after her retirement.
Would it be possible for you (if you have some time) to check the changes to see if the tags are correct?
Thanks and Regards, HP

...she tagged again although she actually shouldn't (or is she meanwhile allowed to do that? If so, then forget my message): [1], [2], [3], [4]. Might be ok, at least it doesn't create an 'unknwon tag' error, but should be checked. HP

Hey Fynnjamin please do not tag the new J.S. Bach Chorale pages I made (BWV 253-438). User:P. Davydov whenever he has time is going to tag them and check over the naming schemes to make sure they are as correct as they can be, thanks.

Looks like my job over the Christmas break  :-)

(-: I had decided to avoid the Bach chorales anyway. It's a slow slog, but we're still below the 3000 mark for untagged pages

Here a couple of users who tags works, maybe it can be checked if they follow the tagging rules... tags his own works, here and one single tag. HP

also, looking over some of your tagging in specific, I have to ask why you tag some songs as "lieder" when the composers did not do so (e.g. Randhartinger's "Drei Sterne") - I had it banged and banged and banged into me that the #1 rule of tagging was, in 99% of cases, if the composer did not say so in a title or subtitle or authorize it via a publisher or whathave, use the nearest possible generic, etc. ; lieder is specific to works so titled (or partially titled, like nachtlied). If this is actually an exception, I hope someone will point me so- I started getting really tired of being told one thing and then being told no, not so, again and again...

Oh dear. As a half-German I maybe assumed too much in using the lieder tag. Part of my reasoning being: it's one of those tags that automatically includes another tag, in this case "songs", which would have been the nearest possible generic anyway. Is it an exception? I hate causing others unnecessary work here.

I don’t know. i assume titles like “Lieder und gesänge” aren’t as redundant as they may seem, though !…
