IMSLP #37744212 Recorder Sonatas, Opp.1-2 (Topham, William) [#10786]

Dear Mr.Müller-Schmidt,

I'm an amateur recorder player, and your wonderful work as an editor and arranger gives me a lot of pleasure and widens my horizons. Thank you very much.

Now about this specific sonata in C major, is there any reason why you don't mention that the first movement is GRAVE? Another thing, please: in Hotteterre's sonata in D major, op. 5, no. 3, in the Grave (the 4th movement), i see in the manuscript that there is a Double Cadence above the b in the first bar and above the d in the third bar, what's the reason it's in your edition?

Thanks ahead, Simon
