New Tools for composers, arrangers and editors ⟨User:Andreaturchetto [#10810]

Your username is now associated with your category page. This enables the use of the new upload tools for composers, arrangers and editors. Beneath the "Add File" button, along with the "Add Sheet Music" (for scans) and "Add Recording" options, you will now see the following additional options...

  • Add Your Own Arrangement (use only for your arrangements of other composers' works - never of your own pieces)
  • Add Your Own Composition (use for all your new pieces, including your arrangements of your own pieces)
  • Add Your Own Edition (use only for your editions of other composers' works - never of your own pieces)

Please feel free to visit the Composer Portal page for more details about how this works.

I can not see in my browser he following additional options... Add Your Own Arrangement (your arrangements of other composers' works - never of your own pieces) Add Your Own Composition (presumably you'll use this most, after setting up pages for new pieces) Add Your Own Edition (your editions of other composers' works - never of your own pieces)

I can only see Add Work with my own composition. I would to add a new transcription of Bach piece, can you help me? Thanks Greetings Andrea Turchetto

It must have been a cache issue of some sort. The Fantasia arrangement was added correctly with the new tools, though you incorrectly created a superfluous page for a piece we already have Fantasia and Fugue in D minor, BWV 905 by Johann Sebastian Bach. Just keep in mind that we have all of Bach's works here. As with most of the other major composers, it is very unlikely you would ever need to create a new page for a piece. Arrangements always go on the same page as the original. Yours is now on the correct page and ready to go.
