Hi, Fynnjamin: I noticed that you untagged Hayes' 3-part canon because it is likely an arrangement.
As part of the tagging project, I am going to do this as "canons ; und". The "und" means it will still come up on a list of things to be checked, and Hayes did write canons, but I can't find this specific one in any known collections. I will put a comment on the bottom that it may also be an arrangement. Becky
OK - I guess there's a chance I'm wrong about this, but all the canons I know of by Hayes are for voices. I do wish uploaders would acknowledge their sources sometimes! Fynn
All of these vocal pieces are a real pain to figure out so I personally have had to skip them over, we will have to come back to pieces like this in the coming days during the month I hope. Or if somebody else can figure these pieces out!
