Organ ⟨Category:Zelenka, Jan Dismas [#11135]

Some of Zelenka's perhaps only available music in the 19th century (?) - see Hofmeister's Monatsbericht (1894), p.499 - was organ arrangements, I think ("Zelinka, ...: ") (plus also this Urbánek edition of "Zelinka, Joh.Ev., Op. 12. Missa brevis (in stilo facili) in honorem nativitatis Domini nostri Jesu Christi p. S., A., Bar. (B), T. ad lib., comit. Org. obl. Part. u. St. Mk 5. Prag, Urbánek." also published in 1894). Were these arrangements or composed for keyboard? Do we have access to the former (Böhmische Organist) edition? They're certainly out of copyright...

hrm, actually, a lot of those weren't organ arrangements, but masses- not recognizable to me by name as by Zelenka?...- but has anyone seen these "Zelinka" scores and can they say if maybe they are (much-edited??) works by Zelenka after all?... that might be very interesting, from a history/publishing point of view...

Never mind, never mind, Zelinka's dates are 1856-1935, as is made clear in the NKC catalogue.
