Notenschreiber - many thanks for the Mozart Divertimento 1-5 KV439b. Would it be possible please to provide BHn 3 parts in treble clef as an alternative to the bass clef parts?

Yes, I can do that.

BHn 3 must be played 1 octave higher as notated. In treble clef, the first note of the first divertimento, would then be the c under the system. Do you prefere a notation with an treble down 8 clef with this c in middle of the system?

Thanks for your reply - it would be very helpful if the parts in treble clef could be played exactly as written, without the need to transpose an octave. (Just the individual BHn 3 parts, no need for an alternate score). Kind regards

I uploaded Basset Horn III of Divertimento 1. So you may have a look at it tomorrow, when it´s free. If you agree with this version, I will procceed with the other divertimenti.

The BHn 3 part for Divertimento 1 is correct for treble clef. A great help to those of us amateur clarinet players who do not easily read bass clef. Your help in adding this alternate clef is much appreciated. (I have just bought an arrangement for 3 BHn by Schottstadt of Divertimento from Cose fan tutte K2272 published Breitkopf and Hartel - BHn 3 is in bass clef in the score to save space, but printed in treble clef in the part - again, I assume to be kind to those of us clarinettists averse to bass clef).

Many thanks for adding the remaining BHn 3 parts for Div 2-5 in treble clef. Just one clef problem identified - In Div 5 Romanze Andante bar 16 the part has remained in bass clef, although has moved up an octave. ( Treble clef in bar 12 should become redundant, as no longer use of both clefs). The Polonaise then also remains in bass clef but up an octave. Kind regards

I corrected the part of Div 5. Thank you for pointing out the mistake.

Hello Notenschreiber,

Thanks for the many useful arrangements and editions!

You have done several arrangements of Mozart's Divertimenti K439b, including one for violin, viola and cello which is mostly in G major. Would it be possible to have the viola and cello parts a tone lower in F major? This would enable performance with the original Basset horn 1 part (written in C, sounding in F). Best wishes.

Of course, I can use the bassoon part in F from the version for two english horns, so a viola part would compete the set.

You just want to have the English horn 2 part of the transcriptipn for 2 English horns and bassoon as sheet music to be played by a viola instead of English horn?
