Big Possible Favor? ⟨User:Notenschreiber [#13582]

Hi Notenschrieber

I got a big big favor to ask you since I know you typeset music. I am wondering if it is possible you could replace the missing pages in the parts I just uploaded for Tchaikovsky's: The Maid of Orleans. The parts that are missing pages are for the Tuba and the Violin I parts. What I need you to do is if the one full score on here does not work with my parts I uploaded, would you be able to track down a Baerenwriter full score to typeset the missing pages into these parts. Once you find a full score that works, I need you to scale the typeset as close to the engraving on those parts as close as possible if you can please, at 10 x 13 inches. Once you get the missing pages typesetted, can you reinsert them into those two parts and reupload them as a new version? Now we would have to get sort of creative with the measure rests and notes of where they are placed on the page because we have no direct reference. Just to give you some info about where I got ahold of these parts, I got them from Carl, he was the original owner of them and sent the huge box set of these parts to me. I did ask him if he could possibly find these missing pages, and I am afraid he has no way of replacing these pages at all, not possible. So we have to make typeset pages to replace these, which in the end, I think would be alot better than cut and pasting from a full score of the missing music to create the music for the missing pages of the parts, which would look very crappy in my opinion! I would really like to see this set complete and hate to leave some not in a complete state!

HI Notenschreiber I got another favor I would like to ask for two big pieces if you could typeset (your score version and parts). You probably have heard these pieces before below, the two sonatines of Richard Strauss

Sonatine No.1, TrV 288 (Strauss, Richard)
Sonatine No.2, TrV 291 (Strauss, Richard)

Now the reason I am asking (not lightly) is that these two pieces here are impossible to purchase the parts through normal commercial means, meaning they can ONLY be rented, the miniscore above is the only thing that can be bought. Since I have seen you have typesetted alot of works already, I wonder if you could make a project out of these two big wind symphonies. It would be great to have parts for these two great works on here. The earlier wind chamber works, Op.4 and 7, are easy to get ahold of the parts, but not these two works above. I am sure if you made your score version and parts, they would become over time pretty popular I feel.

That would be very interesting, but Strauss died in 1949, his works are not PD here in Germany.

How about this, what if you started typesetting them now, then upload them in 2020?

I should not download these files ...
