The Chappell vocal score was published for the London production of 1920 (see page 4 of the file). It contains a number of deviations/additions/revisions of the original Kálmán's score, as is peculiar British and American custom. The differences are to numerous to list them all here. Please compare to my other upload: Weinberger's score for piano solo with supralinear text. However, some of the more glaring examples are: Utta's lied "O du holde Zeit" and Jutta's Csárdás "Lokkend soll ertönen dir ein feurig Lied" are missing entirely; the sequence of numbers is altered for no discernible good reason, the music is sometimes transposed from the original keys etc. There are several interpolations as well. For example, Nr.10 is partially taken from Kálmán's own "Die Bajadere" and the 3rd act contains no music from Kálmán's original score, except for the last 3 pages.
