In three places, Zelenka marks sections of eighth notes "raddoppiare", a term that typically means to double the passage an octave below. This would be impossible in a few places because it would go below the range of the viola. In this edition, the term is interpreted to mean, literally, doubling the number of notes, or playing sixteenth notes rather than eighths. When preparing my own edition, I myself suspected this may be the case — but then why didn't Zelenka write similar passages in other parts in the same way? I'm not convinced Zelenka's use of the term means either interpretation, possibly meaning something else. Wondering if anyone who has extensive experience transcribing Zelenka's scores can shed any light on this.

Also, the indication for the oboes to follow the violin parts note-for-note (con violini) may also not be what Zelenka intended, simply shorthand for what he expected the copyist to do: simplify rapid passages to achieve a cleaner sound. I refer to this article:

Yes, I have have examined that as well. Stockigt interprets "raddoppiare" as doubled an octave below, whilst this edition interprets the direction to play eighths as sixteenths.
