Uploading typesets ⟨User:Gardane [#16794]

Make sure to not change any of the fields that are automatically done for you. Especially the scanner field. Also you don't need your name for the Editor field if you have it in the Arranger field already for an arrangement. Sorry but you will have to reupload again so you do this properly.

Also you need to create a composer page and associate your username if your uploading typesets.

I apologise: I understand that those fields were mandatory.

I am afraid all of that is beyond my comprehension: I give up

You should read over this: http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Composer_Portal

The fact is: I am not the composer in any of those cases

Yes but in order to use the tools properly, you need to create a composer page, your name as the editor will be linked to the composer page.

And would the «composer» be me?

Your not understanding, the composer page of your name links to your own compositions/editions as editor/and your arrangements on one page under your real name. We use to not really require this for editions but with the new toolset that just got updated two days ago, beforehand our toolset had too many problems with people put whatever they want and were trying to control this somewhat and we had to fix this all the time for uploads, which is why now you need to create you composer page and associate it before uploading anymore typesets going forward.

I understand: actually I understood way before. My point did not change: the matter is confused and your last post proves that. I think you underestimated what I wrote above.

Typesets are not public domain either, you need to create a composer page like I said already.
