We already had the workpages for the part sets you have uploaded for already, please be absolutely checking around on the composer page before making a duplicate workpages and uploading files to them.

Could you, please, tell me which work you are so politely talking about?

| Anyway, «Superfluruos», note the capital S, is a wonderful new word we actually missed.

| You'll see the redirects I made for these two below
- Suonate da camera a due violini con il basso continuo (Caldara, Antonio)
- La cetra. Libro quarto di sonate a due, tre e quattro stromenti, Op.10 (Legrenzi, Giovanni)

| Best way to avoid the issue is to use the search box on the main page. Usually it will pick up the title variants (we use Google's search engine). If you don't find anything that way, be sure to look beneath the collections tab for whatever composer you're dealing with. Still looking into a FTP or cloud-type area (familiar with DropBox?) for your helpful suggestion.

| I'm sure Gardane did his best to upload the scores (btw, they're his own scannings and editions). He's trying to understand better how IMSLP works and he did contact me to help him with the process, even though he charitably wants to continue to contribute by himself. Of course, what the site is today (see its recognition of important libraries around the world), is due the tireless work by Carolus and, more recently, Sallen, arranging and editing dozen of pages every day. But lets consider some users don't have experience or facilities to deal with the system in all of its features, they just want to share knowledge with everyone. We're not dealing with modern composers who want to make IMSLP pages as their personal websites. Gardane has just started to contribute with files from his own library that reflects a lifetime of hard work and, you'll see guys, he's going to be one of the most prolific contributors here. Cheers,

| Ok thanks for letting us know about the situation with him. Its great to see and have these contributions, they are definitely needed! I am totally aware all the time that not all users are aware of all the intricacies of searching around and finding the right page to upload the work. We "assume" that all users have read the contributor portal, but people do still make mistakes. Now that the new uploader is in place now, we need the tutorial pages redone or overhauled to make it easier for people to understand how to generally and basically upload files to the site. I think not everyone reads over everything anymore so having images or even links to videos on places like Youtube would really help out the site way more now. I think in today world, people (including myself) are visual learners and learn better when looking at something that they can see, rather than reading through blocks of text. Were not personally accusing anyone of being bad in uploading. We just are telling people what they need to fix for themselves so they "hopefully" try to do it right the next time around. We have to be equal with all uploaders now because of how big the site is now, lots of files to manage through every single day.
