Notenschreiber I shouldn't have to tell admin to admin about how to write out the publisher info for scans? Its in Chicago style format in case you forgot. Also the file description is not acceptable the way you wrote on the file for Harpsichord Trio, StWV 164/2 (Sterkel, Johann Franz Xaver). Have you uploaded any kind of scans before besides typesets? If you don't know who the publisher is, at all, use the {{NoPubID}} template for Unidentified publishers.

NVM I saw another workpage in which you wrote out the publisher info correctly. Still you wrote that file description unacceptably. Also if the external site has a year listed in the information section about the piece, not necessarily on the piece, please list in in the publisher info, don't try to leave it "n.d."
I think you need to reread our manual for writing out publisher info.

| I just forgot to use the P-template, perhaps because i´m uploading scores, typesets and others, for nearly ten years, going back to times where IMSLP has no P- template and no Sallen112. (I sometimes put in the information in a naive manner, bringing it later in form of a template). But usually i use the template and there is no reason for you, being so excited.
You didn´t write what "another workpage" you mean. Sometimes the information given by others are only conjectures and it is not clear for what reasons they are made.
And: Don´t forget, that the users, which are uploading scores here, are the backbone for this enterprise. You should speak to them always in a polite manner.
Best greetings, Notenschreiber
Added later: You changed a file discription to 2. Un poco presto. Should´t it be II. Un poco presto ?

| Look Notenschreiber, I have to deal with the CR list now on a daily basis and I do try to stay polite as much as possible, Carl isn't even really dealing with the list anymore so I have so many files to go through by myself most of the time, just like he use to do. I told him he should only be dealing with the more complex files that are uploaded for copyright or if a page is in a state I am unsure about. So when I point something like this out to an admin, then I assume they are not taking their own responsibility for making sure that the pages are in a good state for the moment (all admins need to be taking their own responsibility for helping out managing the site). Remember you were not given by Carl admin status because he was being nice, its because you earned the status, just like myself. The more files you upload (or anybody) the more work it might be for the admins to deal with. It doesn't matter to me what you want to upload because I don't really care what files you want to upload, I just will point things out about basic details if I think they are wrong. If you want to change stuff like the movement numbering in file description, that detail doesn't really matter, both Arabic or Roman are fine, go right ahead and change it. Nobody is stopping you. Its all just opinion in the end.

| It is not always easy to remember all details which are wanted. You pointed me to the manual. There we find: Individual movements of whole pieces (Symphonies, etc.) use Roman Numerals (I, II, IV, etc.). Apparently this is not so important for you, what i understand. Another admin (IS)consequently writes "Complete score", instead of "Complete Score", probably this detail is not important for him. So you should not be too severely if something is going a little bit wrong, you may change things also.
Be sure, that i don´t want to cause trouble and more work for you, but mistakes occur.

| No I know its not always easy, I am not an expert compared to Carl, by any stretch! It all comes down to experience of how best our skills are. I am not personally attacking you as a person, I do indeed respect you as an uploader and as a person. But I think from time to time sometimes we do need a refresher on what is going on like with any volunteer or job position. Our minds for remembering things tend to degrade over time quickly if the detail you saw or done only once (although their are rare exceptions with certain people out their), your memory on it goes away much faster than something you have practiced a number of times (like playing music!). For me personally for me to best remember a task or something, I have had to do it a number of times before I totally remember it in my long term memory.
So anyway lets move on from this, I don't want to get into a fight over this. Really I think I have come to the conclusion now that if we want details to be exactly the same across the board for uploading, these things have to be done automatically by the system (but we keep to certain habits its fine if we want to continuing fixing those tiny details). Humans are not always consistent. For now lets just keep going with what were doing.
I think the rule regarding the Roman numeral I think comes down to preference because we have also used arabic numbers in the movement sections also on so many pages. When has the last time the manual was update? Not for many years I suspect. Edward is going to be overhauling all of this at some point, including the tutorials for new users.
