Dear Luca:

The instrumentation field says "strings, winds and guitars", but I don't see plural guitars in the score. In fact I'm wondering if the violin and cello parts are meant to be "one-on-a-part", in other words not "orchestra" per se. Also, is the "Fli Bar." indication for the guitar? I see 5 parts: flute, tenor sax, violin, cello, and then whatever is "Fli. Bar". Is that right? Thanks, B

The instrumentation is: flute, tenor sax, violin, cello, baritone flugelhorn and guitars (musical arrangements over the soprano). Thanks.

So are the guitar parts improvised and not in the score? If so, a note should be made somewhere about that. Thanks, B

Yes, that's right. Thanks

OK, last question, and then I'll do the changes. When solo (or one-on-a-part) instruments are involved, we tag for the specific number. "guitar" will mean 1 guitar, otherwise I need a number. You say "guitars" plural . . . do you have a specific number in mind? If it is open, we usually tag for one, and put a note that more than one can play as desired. Thanks, B

No, there's not a specific number. Thanks.

OK, have a look at the page now. B
