"Manuscript" without date or further information just won't do. The Saint-Saëns second concerto full score for example had "November 1902" at the end of the last page of score and was an -autograph- manuscript (holograph even- manuscript, in the composer's own hand, and signed dated), not just a copy- manuscript can mean either, or lots of things, it just means "handwritten"- why not say so? (I've filled in the information and added in the specific link to the page at BNF's website where it can be seen. But leaving so much work for other people is not really polite?...
