Lion dance Mida branch (Yanagita, Tokinori) ⟨User:YANAGITAtokinori [#22613]

Sorry but I need to see more effort than just putting in "Complete Score" on all 26 files here. You need to give each File Description a more specific label, are they movements of this work or are they actual part files? Please reupload but this time be more specific, especially this is your work you made, you really need to be. Also you cannot user New Arrangement for uploading, you must use "New Composition" for uploading.

OK. It's just transcribed work. I dictated local Traditional music composed some hundreds years ago. Is that right to upload new composition ?

Yes use New Composition for uploading.

Hi, Thank you for your message. I uploaded a new file. it includes some of files which uploaded before. The page is better to be simple, I think. So I deleted unneeded ones. I will uploaded three versions played in each area in my city from now. Should they are uploaded as new composed one ? Should I explain some more about my plan to remake the page ?

Those files named "Complete Score ~~~" should be published on the page, I think. The other ones are included to a pdf file which name is " Complete Score belongs to Kusumura shrine ". I have studied this kind of japanese traditional music for these years and I'm sure that some of them without ornamentations are unneeded one to publish here. Now three files are blocked. I wrote down them on the european music sheet. They are historical traditional japanese music composed or arranged at least 120 years ago. So there is no problem on the copyright. If there is anything which I can do to unblock those files, Can you tell me, please. Here younger people doesn't want to play traditional lion dance and the teams are decreasing for these 20 years. I'd like to support the traditional music and have made music sheet voluntarily.

Dear Tokinori:

Please do not change tags. There are specified abbreviations and "mini-cymbal" is not one of them. If you check the bottom of the page, what you did caused an "unknown tag" error. So to start with, always check the page after your changes to see that you haven't caused errors.

When you added mini-cymbal, is this a 2nd player? All unpitched percussion is under one abbreviation (because 1 player generally plays many instruments), so if there are 2 players I need to change the tag to reflect that.

Thanks, B

Dear Steltz mini-cymbal is played by the 3rd player. The lion dance needs 2 players basically. But only one piece called "Okagura" needs one more player. I'd like to clean up the page. For example, 2 pdf files named "Complete score in C belongs to Higashihino shinmei shrine v.1.1" are shown the page, One is unneeded one because they are same. And they have some more pages, total is over 30 pages, but I can't upload the whole pages. Some pdf files are also unneeded one because of they aren't analysed enough.

So I need more the right to clean up the page.

Sincerely, yours.

OK, before I start on this, I need to ask a couple more questions --

1) are these all meant to be played in one performance? The reason I need to know that is because tagging is for the whole, so if one movement needs 3 players, then the piece is tagged for 3 players

2) when you say "traditional Japanese flute for Shinto ritual", would that be a shakuhachi? We do have a tag for that instrument.

I have in the meantime removed one of the duplicate files.
