Every source I have does seem to accept "Lebhaft" as the tempo as of the change to common time on page 2 of the first movement, but I don't see any specific tempo marking/header at all. Some change seems implied by the fact that continuing in a slow tempo probably wouldn't work very well :)... maybe put Lebhaft in brackets to show "editorial insertion", and that the composer didn't actually write it - unless, of course, he did (somewhere else, eg violin part, or in a manuscript copy, or in some other source somewhere? :) :) )
