You need to combine the Scores together and the Parts together either in two separate files or one file together. We don't allow part files by movement.

OK. Is the following acceptable? I would like to submit the score with all related parts attached (i.e., in one PDF), but for each separate movement. For example, I would submit the score for the 1st movement with all parts in one PDF. I would then do the same for the 2nd and 3rd movements. Please advise.--~~~~

No I said we don't accept parts by movement, you need to combine all movements in one part at least.

Ok. Sorry to be so slow. I guess I could combine the scores for 3 movements together in one submission, and then the parts together for 3 movements in a 2nd submission. Thank you for your help.--~~~~

I guess its OK how you have it now, but I would really prefer you combine all movements of the score together and all the movements for each part together, not leave files for each movement separately. Technically you still have the parts separated by movement.

Actually, I would like to change it into one file, but I am not sure how. I started out by clicking on the merge files button, and I thought that would combine the files. Is there supposed to be a way to merge the separate files - or should I merge them myself before uploading into IMSLP? If there are specific written instructions, please advise. Perhaps I should have hit the "merge" button AFTER uploading the separate files instead of before?--~~~~

Don't you have a PDF editor to reorganize the files by Score and by Parts?

NVM did you read over the section here to merge files?

Thanks for the information. I will check into PDF editors, and have read the IMSLP merge info. link, which was very helpful. I will try to do it right next time.--~~~~

I have a question regarding the replacement of a file. For one of my compositions, submitted a couple of years ago, I uploaded a score and separately uploaded the instrumental (cello) part. Now I have made some edits to the work and would like to replace it with the updated version. I now know how to merge my PDFs so that the score and cello part can be in one PDF. Therefore, I could replace the old score with the new, merged PDF (i.e., score and cello part). If I do that, what do I do with the old cello part? How do I delete it? (If getting rid of the old cello part is a problem, I could upload separate parts, as I did a couple of years ago.) Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.--~~~~
