Although UE's copyright claims might be a bit inflated, the files you uploaded were perusal copies, which we can't have. If you can supply clean copies, we can consider having them on the site, but otherwise we will have to suffice with Schoenberg's own manuscripts and proof copies, which are fine.

You mean in terms of look or copyright? I don't think a watermark on an old print is enough of a threshold of originality!

It's not a question of originality, but it does demonstrate enough of an intent to enforce that we need to tread lightly, especially around the toes of such a large and militant entity as UE. But mostly it is a question of look, yes.

I can understand that we don't need to mess with UE, but there is just no copryight on that (i even removed the front page which would be under copyright). And it maybe doesn't look perfect but you can read everything very well and it's much better than nothing!

Maybe we have sone copyright expert here? ;)

I mean, I would say that my master's degree in intellectual property would qualify me as an expert on copyright, yes. But once again, the legality of the scores is not really the question here. Nonetheless, I have referred this up to the local authority, Carolus.

Surely you have a hell lot more knowledge on copyright than me then. But if it's, as you said, a matter of looks, i would say they are fine and perfectly readable.
