Hi, Fynnjamin: Before I create a "gtr bc" tag, I just want to check something -- is the "reading with figured bass" part pieces for guitar with continuo, i.e. 2-3 people, or does it mean a guitarist reading figured bass, i.e. learning how to be the continuo guy?

Well, it looks to me as though it's probably a bit of both. Guitar learning how to play continuo. But the score is guitar/vihuela tab below a figured bass line, so could conceivably be for more than one player.
