Hi Albert

I've been playing the Gibbons fantasias from the page Fantasias for 6 Viols (Gibbons, Orlando) and I think your numbering of VDGS1 and VDGS2 is the wrong way round! I've checked the VDGS thematic index and it looks as though the one you have numbered as VDGS1 is actually VDGS2 (and vice versa).

Hi Stephen,

You are correct: the VdGS-uk has changed their numbering of the first two Orlando Gibbons fantasias in their index. You will note that they now have them listed out of order in their undated change. Their introductory page on Orlando Gibbons details their extensive confusion on these matters for the 6-part fantasias.

Hi Albert

I found an error in the tenor 1 part of the first fantasia. The e in bars 94 and 95 should be d instead. Also the e quaver in bar 36 should probably be flat but it seems that it is not the case in the original.
