Now you see them, now you don't ⟨Category:Composers [#2726]

I wonder why in the listing of composers' names there are more names visible when I am logged in than when I am logged out. To take an example, when I am logged in and check names under 'O' the list begins with O'Connor, O'Hara, O'Kelly, O'Neill F., O'Neill N., O'Shea. When I log out and return to the same page I can only see half of them, namely O'Connor, O'Hara, and O'Neill N.

Perhaps it isn't displaying because of the changes to Joseph O'Kelly's category recently. I've purged the category from the server's cache so the latest page changes should be showing up for all users.

Is this the same case for Louis Feltz, added 3 days ago? It used to appear in the composers list, but now he does not show.... However, his new page is still displayed on IMSLP. Rather disturbing!

That's weird as his name wasn't showing up in the composer category listing even when I was logged in. Purging the composer category from the cache seems to have solved the problem. One other thing I noticed is that when you created the composer you spelled out the names of the months for his birth and death. The wiki needs them input as numbers for it to be read and display his dates properly. I don't know whether or not that had anything to do with his name not showing up in the composer category.

Well, Louis Feltz still does not appear in the composers' list as today, Sunday, Nov. 25.... And that's not the only weird thing happening with the IMSLP database: sometimes, I have to upload a corrected file several times until it appears as I wished... See, Daquin, Noel VI (modern version).

I just added (24/11/2012) composer Harry Drew (1851-1895) and a Magnificat by him. Took me a couple of hours to do this. It appeared to be succesfully in IMSLP last night, and I thought good. Now tonight I look and he's disappeared from IMSLP. What is going on? Do I try again or will he and his Magnificat come back if I wait. Help please. ~~~~

Drew's Magnificat still seems to be on its page here => Magnificat (Drew, Harry). Where are you looking for Drew that you can't see him? I've seen some oddities recently with composers not showing up in the Category:Composers but they do show up in the Category:People. It seems I have to purge both the composer's page history and the category's to get the composer to show up in the composer category. Weird.

The composer Anthony Verbalis had been in the composers' list for about a year, but now does not appear at all, logged in or not. The page is still there, and Verbalis does appear in Category:People. How best to restore into the composers' list? Should I just re-enter this name using the add-a-composer dialog?

I've purged the composer category's history again and Verbalis is now showing up under that category for me when I'm either logged in or not.

I just added a Te Deum Laudamus to the composer Józef Kocięda. His name has currently disappeared in the list as well, but I do not know whether uploading a new work would let his name show up again or not. If not, I request his name to be brought up again.

His name is showing up for me (whether I'm logged in or not) in both the Composer and People categories without requiring me to purge any history. Under composers he's showing up between Jaroslav Kocián and František Kocžwara.
