Paganini Violin Concerto No.1, arr. Wellerson/Wilhelmj ⟨User:YuriyLcello [#28776]

Mila Wellerson was only deceased in 1972, so her arrangement does not fall into the public domain in Canada until 2023, and 2043 in the EU. But since this edition was published in 1924, it is public domain in the US, so this file will have to be uploaded to the US-only server.

That's what I was expecting. I don't know how to access the US server.

It's fairly straightforward, but does require that you change to the 'classic' skin for the site. To do this, just click 'Switch back to classic skin' at the bottom of any page. Once you're on the classic skin, navigate back to the relevant page, and start uploading the file. The upload procedure is mostly the same, but instead of being at the top of the page, the "Add File" menu is on the top right. Select "Add sheet music" from the drop down, and then the appropriate option from the "Add to tab" menu - in this case "Arrangements and Transcriptions". On the next screen, you'll see the text "If a file is public domain only in the United States (e.g. was published before 1926 but author died less than 50 years ago), [more...]". Clicking on "more" will reveal the text "please use this upload form instead (note: file-names with apostrophe character should be avoided)." Clicking on "this upload form" will take you to the US-only server upload form. From there, follow the instructions as provided.

Thank you for the detailed guide! I didn't know that this is how you uploaded to the US server. I will use this from now on. Looks pretty simple.

No problem. Just remember that this is exclusively for scores which are PD US and not PD CA. All other scores must be uploaded in the usual way.

I understand!
