Ok so the arrangement you added for this work, we have determined that the contributor above for this Horn and Piano arrangement is under copyright everywhere (and was first published after 1925) since the additions made to the pieces in both the Horn and Piano lines is heavily edited (and musically different) comparing this to an already existing PD arrangement in the same tab. Even though the music follows the coutour of the original setting most likely, it is still significantly changed around. Also looks like one movement got removed from this as well thereby putting this under lock and key until 2025. There is not anything you can do right now until 2025 once the contributor above goes Public domain (or if your able to find info on B. Solodouiew). Was not able to find anything about the actual arranger here for this setting.
Also you REALLY need to learn to add in the birth and death dates AT MINIMUM before uploading files on here into the fields for any and all contributors to a work or edition. This is CRITICALLY important to the status of a work. Since you did not provide Maganini's birth and death dates, we had to look this up, finding out he is still under copyright everywhere. Only editions first published before 1926 of him can be accepted or if the editions (published after) he edited do not deviate from the original edition too much or added to many new musical additions to the work that deviate too much from the original setting. Honestly this could start to constitute deletion of your uploads if you continue to lack such details after upload. Do not put extra work like this on us if you have had alot of experience uploading files on here already. Everyone that uploads has to strive to be as complete as possible with all known details of the file in question.

Thank you for your comments. I do strive to find all the information possible about the works that I upload, but it is not always easy as many of them are quite obscure. I'm sorry this brings such a burden on other people and I apologise for it, and I didn't know it was such a big issue. The whole process of contributing to the library is far from easy for an occasional user like me, having not too much experience of wiki language, copyrights rules and all the rules of the website itself.
I've invested a lot of time in enriching the horn repertoire of the 18th and 19th centuries: finding old editions, scanning them, finding information, uploading, etc. My only goal has always been to allow a greater distribution of horn music to people that might not have access otherwise to it.
I believe it is probably for the best if I just stop because I do not believe that I should feel so bad for mistakes that I've done unintentionally (for voluntary work).
PS. The caps letters weren't necessary.

| Sorry for putting word in Caps but I do that to emphasize whats important in what I am saying. Were not going to stop you from uploading items. You mostly have the process down, you just need to mostly fix just finding out the dates on these contributors. If you cannot always find them, thats fine, but please do really try before uploading. There are resources such as VIAF or Musicsack you can utilize for finding these things out.

| I've had time to reflect on your message since yesterday. I believe it was disrespectful, condescendant, and essentially unjustified (even though I know my contributions can be problematic). I would never think of writing to anybody on this website the way you wrote to me yesterday: we might be both hiding behind user names, but we are, above all, humans, and deserve to be treated with respect. The fact that you are an admin - and I, a simple unexperienced and amateur contributor - does not justify in any way, in my personal opinion, the lack of respect and the threats that you formulated.
My contributions are rarely faultless, and might be a "burden" to you and others, though not because of carelessness from my end: I do strive to make them to the best of my abilities. They are nevertheless appreciated by many horn players and aficionados around the world. I believe this is the true spirit of this amazing website. I have always tried, and stayed open, to improve my contributions, most importantly by going back to check what was changed by the admins once they were approved.
While I appreciate the fact that you won't "ban" me from contributing to this website, this incident is like a cold shower to my enthusiasm, and I don't see how I can invest so much time and energy in expanding my instrument's repertoire in the fear of making mistakes and get told off by an admin like a schoolboy at a boarding school.
I appreciate everything that you do and bring to IMSLP, even though I probably know only a very small percentage of it. For that reason, and because I am a true believer of the importance of such an enterprise, I am grateful to you.

| Puzzi I think alot of people do appreciate all the uploads you have contributed to the website and there is alot of things I have never heard of either that do look very interesting. But everyone needs to keep in mind, that copyright is a very serious subject when it gets into things that were first published or contributors who died very recently, we do have to be very blunt with people about this when they do infringe upon copyright, that is why we have to be very strict about this with people. Sorry if my tone sounded mad but just understand your not the only uploader we have to review files for and there are more people out there that have done alot more stupid things with uploading being very careless when it comes to copyright (your not one of them and I am not treating you like one). We have had people try to threaten us getting files taken down on the website recently over a lack of understanding of how our website works on here. Most of the items you have added have been in the public domain mostly and you have been fine so far. Please do not take my language the way I write to personally also, I definitely have things I have learned the hard way as well, not everyone here is like me and are nicer.
Most of the time things that were going to point out to people are things mostly related to copyright more so than other details, which are not as relevant or as serious, but should be paid attention too. And also most of the time I will point out something if a more or less serious mistake is made (once again related to copyright) or not using the upload tools correctly (sometimes I can point out details that an uploader has done 100 times but has not changed there upload process). We cannot upload everything online here that exist out there, that is why were mostly a site dedicated to the public domain so we have to pay attention to this. We do not want you to stop uploading items just because you got turned off by this thread, that is just the way my job is on here.
