IMSLP #20955Carmen (Bizet, Georges) [#31694]

The transcription for piano solo is by Anthony Choudens (the publisher) and not Bizet the composer. Although we can’t see it on this edition, but we can see the real credit on the complete scan of the first page. Can we change the name?

I don't see anything about the publisher being the arranger on the first page. There isn't anything either saying about the composer being the arranger either, only assumed. We would need external website evidence or book catelogue evidence to support your claim.

Of course. I am a student of Conservatory of Paris in musicology and i search for it. Here is the link of the Bibliothèque nationale de France : https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb42854468v And here is a shop link of the same edition as IMSLP where you can see on the second photo, at the bottom of the page « partition piano seul arrangée par Antony Choudens » with the same front page as the one from IMSLP

And here are the scores from the library of the conservatoire of Paris : https://mediatheque.cnsmdp.fr/opac?id=940d5500-d7be-422a-a974-d155ebb0bf07 (Choudens is credited as transcripteur and not as a publisher) unfortunately there is no photo
