But could you please provide a model letter? I don't want to bother this person with several trial-and-errors. And not sure the letter will be in English, perhaps French or German.
And each time I upload an edition or an arrangement of mine the imslp form says: BY SIGNING BELOW, I, THE UPLOADER AND/OR SUBMITTER, ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE COPYRIGHT OWNER(S) (WHICH MAY INCLUDE MYSELF) TO LICENSE THE FILE(S) UPLOADED AND/OR SUBMITTED UNDER [...]
I thought signing this was enough because it is the case.

Yeah, it's usually OK, just usually for other contributors (arrangers especially) we usually require written permission. It should be no problem here.
Unfortunately, my German is not great, but I can write an English or French one for you. A simple English model letter would be:
