Le carnaval des animaux (Saint-Saëns, Camille) ⟨User:Ajlee2006 [#35601]

Hello,

Quick question about your "Complete Score" (which has all the solo instruments in a grand staff score) file you uploaded for your arrangement for Low Instrument and Piano, how usable is this kind of score to the community on here for if each setting in your file block is "For Woodwind Instrument or Brass Instrument and Piano" if every single solo instrument with piano accompaniment file is its own setting already and has nothing to do with this score itself? Is this just a helpful study score to use of some sort (especially if the Bass Clarinet + Piano and Bassoon + Piano are already its own scoring already separately from this score?

Usually a "Music Score" for a work is the combination of all the instruments that would play together as an ensemble for a setting for a work if its the original setting or arranged setting, but if your intention is for the solo woodwind or brass instrument to be played separate from each other with piano as accompaniment for each (so 2 players only), why would this kind of file be useful to anyone if each setting is supposed to be played separately?

If that is the case, why not just upload each one as its own file block instead of this huge file block of various 2 player settings?

You are right, its not very useful for performance, I guess you could remove it then. I do not feel every combination of piano + instrument is necessary though because the piano part is the same

What is your reasoning though for creating this Score in the first place? I am just curious as to why you made this kind of score.

When you saying "or" in the header of the fileblock, its assumed a various amount of instruments can be played for your work then based on logic. But your now saying "not every combination of instrument is necessary", but the original header you entered in (which I changed) says otherwise any sort of combination of Solo Instrument with Piano is possible then.

That score is the default when I have added all instruments, and to make scores of instrument + piano i have to make a new part score.

I do not mean that not every combination of instrument is necessary, I am saying the piano player can look at the score with any instrument and it'll be fine. So yes any solo instrument can play with the piano
