Vocal works with text ⟨User:Andreaturchetto [#4793]

You must include the names (and most importantly) the dates for the authors of any text set to music. Petraca, obviously, is no problem as we already know he is public domain. Copyright terms are based upon the lifetime of the last surviving contributor. We had an unpleasant surprise here when it was pointed out that one of Puccini's librettists lived until 1970 - which means the works with text by him are still under copyright in Canada (where our server is located). The best way to learn how things work here is to go slowly and watch what is done to your pages after upload. You do not have to translate all titles into English, just those with generic titles (Sonatas, Concertos, Symphonies) and the instrumentation is not usually part of the title (though sometimes it has to be).

For example, if the song you uploaded has text of Eugenio Montale (died 1986), it will have to be removed unless you have permission in writing from the Montale estate to upload the work here.

Ok, I have to remove the romance of Montale and Primo Levi. I suppose there is no problem also for Leopardi and Qoelet

What are their dates? Anyone who died before 1964 is OK. You're uploading things as "Normal Scans" instead of as "New Compositions" - even though they are actually scans of Finale printouts, anything which is under copyright has to be uploaded as a new composition (if an original piece) or as a "(Re)Typeset" (if an arrangement or edition of an older piece). Also, only admins can actually remove items.

Yes, we already located them. Opus numbers now removed.
