Why does IMSLP not have recordings from Fulda Symphonic Orchestra? (they are under EFF OAL) ⟨Category:Performers⟩ [#5287]

Hello all:

There are recordings available under the EFF OAL license from the Fulda Symphonic Orchestra here: http://web.archive.org/web/20120312041246/http://www-plan.cs.colorado.edu/henkel/fso/ Is there a reason that IMSLP doesn't use them, while Wikipedia does?

I can only assume that, like me, the users likely to upload these recordings were unaware of them. I've now added Category:Fulda Symphonic Orchestra and have added several of their recordings to the site. Most of what I didn't upload is already represented on IMSLP in recordings by other artists. I should point out that I could not find on either the orchestra's old website or on their Facebook page any statement regarding the licensing of their recordings outside of the time period 2000 to 2003 so I do not think it appropriate to upload to IMSLP any of the more recent recordings they have linked on their Facebook page. Thanks for bringing this resource to my attention!

No problem. I just stumbled upon them while browsing Wikipedia, and IMSLP just has a better format for dealing with recordings and scores.
