Six Trio Sonatas - Pla, Joan Baptista (missing sheets) ⟨User:Notenschreiber [#6226]

Hello Notenschreiber.

We're a group of Musicology students from Salamanca, Spain. We're going to transcribe the Six Trio Sonatas from Pla, and we realized some sheets of the bassus are missing (the last ones of the 5th and the entire ones of the 6th). We were wondering if it was a mistake when you uploaded it or the sheets are definitely missing from the original source. We would really appreciate it if you could upload it, in case you have it.

Best regards!

I´m sorry, but i can´t help. The original uploader was a user named Quartetier (in 2008). In 2011 there has been an intensive discussion about these sonatas in several aspects, i don´t remember the details. But as a consequence they are uploaded once more on both composer pages of the Pla brothers by me.

Dear SalamancaMusicology,

You may have already found them but the two sonatas which are incomplete in the bass part are now on IMSLP in other versions. The G major Sonata (no.5) is in the other set of 6 trios (uploaded recently by Notenschreiber) and the E minor sonata (no.6) was uploaded by me today from a manuscript version in the library in Karlsruhe. Although this version is in D minor (more suitable for oboe) you could transpose the bass part to match the E minor version as published by Hardy, that is, if you want to play it on Flute.

I hope I have helped you a little bit.

All the best.
