Vanhal Oboe Quartets Op.7 ⟨User:Notenschreiber⟩ [#6573]

Thank you so much for your work typesetting the Vanhal Oboe Quartet in G major! I love those pieces (I have a Naxos recording of them being played on flute instead of oboe) and I have been hoping to introduce them to my musical friends on one of our chamber music evenings, but with my lack of time and limited music notation software, typesetting them was a big hurdle.) It's great to have such a beautifully clear performing edition, and looking forward to more of the quartets to come! ~~~~

Hi Aldona, thank you for your friendly comment. There is a reason for the choice of No.3. All the others are available, for example via Musica Rara, but No.3 is missing, as far as i know. I therefore do not plan to work about the others. But i have typesetted some other quartets for oboe or flute with string trio from the same period, 6 String Quartets, Op.7 (Kammel, Antonín) (No.3 and No.5) and 6 String Quartets, Op.12 (Abel, Carl Friedrich) (No.5).
