You're learning fast. The designations beneath the "Arrangements and Transcriptions" tabs are "read" by the system and must therefore be done in a specific manner.

  1. It has to be a level 5 header (5 equal-signs)
  2. designations must begin with "For"
  3. Instruments must be listed in a specific order

The "For Obliggato Harpsichord and Violin" as a level 4 header, for example, does not work. This has been changed to the level 5 header "For Violin and Harpsichord" and now appears in the genre category and in the category walker. Level 4 headers are used to designate sections of a piece (individual numbers or movements) or different versions (1905 version, 1910 version) where the piece was altered in some significant way (music added or subtracted, etc.). Level 3 headers are used for tabs and therefore quite limited in what is available. Pages default to an initial level 3 header of "Scores".

I have been adding works to the list that have been arranged by Pisendel. I just wanted to check that I have been doing it all correctly before I continue. I am worried that it looks too busy ie; there is a lot of information regarding copyists/engravers etc. The example below is like many others in this group because it contains several sets of parts, copied by different copyists with different dates. A possibility is to separate the sets into three separate documents. Would that be necessary?

Is this something I should discuss with another, more experienced uploader (Notenscheiber, for example)? I have a few more questions and suggestions regarding Pisendel's manuscripts from schrank 2.

Kind regards.
