Hi, Tim. The license that you asked Carolus about (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial) is not public domain. No Creative Commons license is public domain, and even the least regulated one offered here requires attribution. It's quite OK though, this type of confusion happens often as copyright can be very tricky.
