Michael Haydn Divertimento MH 199 ⟨User:Fynnjamin [#7491]

Hallo Fynnjamin, May I ask: Why did you tag this work: http://imslp.org/wiki/Divertimento_in_B-flat_major,_MH_199_(Haydn,_Michael) for cello in addition to double bass (The german Contrabaß is not cello!)? The edition and the narrative by the editor give no hint that there is a version with cello, see also the Haynes bibliography http://beauty-of-code.de/works/show/1332.

manuscript parts state violoncello, not double bass. urn:nbn:de:bvb:12-bsb00077693-4 https://opac.rism.info/search?id=456009557&db=251&View=rism Cello is valid as an alternative. Another MS has violone https://opac.rism.info/search?id=600176424&db=251&View=rism

Ah, must have somehow missed the BSB scan in the rss feed. And it is now much clearer with your upload.
