Hi Notenschreiber,

Where did you find the date (1758) for this manuscript? I am curious to know. RISM says between 1750-55 and for some reason I remember (maybe incorrectly) that Morgenstern left the Dresden court in 1756.

Sorry, i don´t remember, we should add a question mark to that date. But in the "Schrank II book" (Ortus Verlag) one can read, that Morgenstern plays the viola in the chapel of the Dresden court until his death 1763.
