| How Wikis Work

| For some people, this might be the first wiki that you visit. Wikis are, in fact, very easy to use. Probably the most basic thing you will want to know about the IMSLP wiki is that most pages can be edited by anyone. You can go to this test page and try editing it with the "Edit this page" button at the top of the page.

| IMSLP needs your help! You can contribute by simply participating in the growth of this wiki by sharing your knowledge in music with others. If you have old sheet music on your shelves, or public domain sheet music on your hard disk, consider sharing them with the rest of the world by uploading it to IMSLP! You can also visit the vacant staff positions page.
For score submissions, read this guideline, and walkthrough. Tips for obtaining or scanning public domain scores are shared on IMSLP:Contributing scores, and a list of links is maintained on the external links page.
