Bassano, Giovanni vs. Augustine
Would you please reinstate the composer page for Augustine Bassano and transfer the Gagliard edited by Peter Philips from the Giovanni page to the Augustine page. The pdf files themselves have the correct composer. I would do the transfer but I am unsure of any linkages involved. I will then add the other Augustine Bassano pieces to this new composer page. I hope we have this all straightened out then. If you cannot do this, can some other moderator do it? Thanks. Afolop 09:27, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done: Bassano, Augustine. Cheers, KGill talk email 17:20, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi KGill. I just want to let you know that I think the draft for page about Canadian copyright law is finished. Do you think it looks OK? I'm sorry I couldn't finish it sooner, my health got in the way of me being able to do almost anything. Your comments are appreciated very much. Respectfully yours, Emery 19:56, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
- Emery, the page looks absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately I don't really have time to read it in any great detail at the moment, but I will definitely try to sometime during the next week. In any case, judging from the glance I took at it, it is highly detailed and informative - an excellent complement to the US page. I'm sorry I cannot offer a more useful review at present, but then again your knowledge of the subject far exceeds my own. Cheers, KGill talk email 20:57, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi! Emery, your page look really nice. I wish I had some criticism but I don't... It looks really well fleshed out! I'm just wondering, do you have a law degree? You seem to know a lot of legislation and such. If not, what type of degree do you have? Music? I'm just wondering because I'm not sure what is involved in having your type of job. Cheers! - Hi Lndlewis10. I'm glad you like the page, but there are some things that could definitely be improved. If memory serves, I don't think a law degree is required to work on the copyright office. I guess I do technically do have a degree in musicology, but I really don't remember too much about it anymore. My dissertation involved some details on publishing and copyright, which is how I picked up interest and maybe a little bit of knowledge on copyright law. I really don't know too much about it though, I've lost touch with that type of research. I worked in my local library for some time, and eventually ended up in the copyright office by a curious turn of events. I'm on a leave of absence right now due to my condition, but that gives me more time to do some personal research into the musical fields that interest me most. Respectfully yours, Emery 22:08, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Te Deum in D major, HWV 278 (Handel, George Frideric)
Hi. Sorry to bother you but I wondered - as you've been involved before - could you please very kindly take a look at Talk:Te Deum in D major, HWV 278 (Handel, George Frideric) where I am rabbiting on about ... stuff. I would attempt to sort it out myself but my cluelessness could be an issue ... Thanks and best wishes Nevilley 14:49, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
