Misc. Notes Composer’s notes: This is my first set of “Préludes et Fugues” for the piano using modern jazz harmony. The fugues use two subjects, the second one being built from the first subject harmonization (counter-subject). Some of the fugues are extensive as the N°3 in A flat Major with 255 bars. As a contrast, the Preludes are shorter and mostly built with sequences of patterns. Saint Pierre Les Nemours, France 2019, October 19th S.Ansons
