The pages have been arranged 2-up in imposition (booklet) order for duplex printing on A3 paper and require an A3 printer. Alternatively, this work can be mail-ordered from Ourtext's website. Ourtext prints have undergone editing, and legibility and accuracy can be expected to be superior to Merton archive files displayed here. This is, fortunately, not the same version as acquired from BNF.

Misc. Notes As "Oeuvre XII" but missing the violin part of the finale of No.1 (which has two movements in the violin part and 3 movements in the other parts. Also, the first violin part doesn't at all sync with the other parts and seems, after quartet no.1, to be taken from a different set of quartets entirely.)

Misc. Comments

Actually, what seems to be the 1774 publication says "Œuvre XII" on the title page, see #341616. What is this about "without opus number"?

The version @ BNF has, however, as one sees, viola and cello parts that follow the Hummel edition but a violin part that goes quite wholly its own way after the slow movement of no.1!. The Merton reprint combines violas and cello parts and apparently the correct Sieber violin part for this set.
