I think that beginning orchestra students should have the chance to play in time signatures other than 4/4 and 2/4 for the first half of their method books. So here is an introduction to 6/4 for your students. I have a few more in this time signature. I am not sure if it prepares them for 6/8, but one can hope for the transition to be easier.
