  • The score bears imprint M-me Lemoine, which suggests some date after François Lemoine's death (1839), when the firm continued operations under his widow. Kontski's opus numbering also suggests 1840 ca. Also, La Vendetta was staged in 1839. But plate numbers clearly give 1830. Don't know how to explain this.
