Navigation etc.

RISM has 5 entries for this work, none of which are an autograph manuscript. Of the 3 that have scoring details, all have 4 solo voices and chorus. 2 entries have an orchestra of strings and continuo, and the third lists oboes as well. The main difference between these entries and Peter Young's edition is the 4th solo voice; this RISM entry lists "Gott is nur mein höchstest Gut" as a soprano aria, not a tenor aria - this aria is for tenor in two sources and soprano in two others. This page is tagged for solo voices generically (no number), and if an autograph manuscript becomes available, the tag can be made more specific.

N.B. There is a sixth RISM entry that lists this title as misattributed to Telemann, and really by Theodor Christlieb Reinhold (1682-1755). However, that cantata is a different setting, which may have been attributed to Telemann at one time, but is not TWV1:71. It exists in the collection Vierstimmige Motetten und Arien (Hiller, Johann Adam).
