Extra Information Two of the first violins have a solo role in the mazurka movement- they can be replaced by flutes, according to the score. The Tarantelle is listed as "Tarantelle" in the list of movements but is "Tarantella" in the full score.

The published full score is designed so that the following instruments may be omitted: flute 3, horns 3 and 4, trumpets 3 and 4, tuba, tambourine, bass drum, cymbals, and harp. Triangle appears in the 2nd and 3rd movements.
