Navigation etc.

  • Of the arrangements, links have been made for the works we have pages for, and where the composer is known but we don't have these specific works, a link to the composer's page has been made.
  • Of the remaining works, it is difficult to know what the "Real" German Schottische and the Soldier's March would be, unless someone recognizes and can identify them. Rhine Shore Schottisch and Swiss Cottage Schottish were also arranged by William Dressler for piano, but the original composers are unknown. May-Party Waltz and Merry Harvest Galop were arranged by Francis Henry Brown for piano, but the original composers are unknown.
  • Other comments: Wallace's Music Murmuring in the Trees and Village Maiden's Waltz are romances for piano, from a collection called Woodland Sketches. Both were later arranged by Jarvis as ballads with quartet or chorus.
