The Apps and all information and materials provided by the Apps are provided to you "AS IS" without warranty of any kind.
YOUR USE OF THE APPS, OR YOUR PROVISION TO US OF ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS; DO NOT USE THE APPS OR PROVIDE INFORMATION IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THE TERMS.
IMSLP requests personally identifiable information when you register for an account or otherwise use the Apps. Information may be used or requested to perform research, improve usability of the Apps, administer mailing lists or online communities, or other activities related to the Apps. This information may include, but is not limited to, personal names, e-mail addresses, age or birthdate, pictures or avatars, location, and occupation.
Sending messages or sharing files or other items (collectively, "Social Content") using the Apps is a public action, and content may be publicly visible where applicable. Identification of all Social Content may include, but is not limited to, display of your account name, real name or e-mail address. All content may be retained for restorative, archival, or research purposes by IMSLP. Editing or deleting Social Content may alter the displayed state of the Social Content, but may not permanently delete the content from the Apps or our servers.
The Apps have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. However, your confidential use of the Apps cannot be guaranteed by IMSLP. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IMSLP shall not be responsible for any harm that you or any person may suffer as a result of a breach of confidentiality in respect to your use of the Apps or any information you transmitted using the Apps.
The privacy policy for the IMSLP website is hereby included by reference, and can be found on this page: http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Privacy_policy. This privacy policy for the Apps shall take precedence over the website privacy policy in the event of any conflict of terms.
