This work treads chronologically on the toes of the triptych Fantaisie nostalgique..., which explains the thematic resemblance. The present one though bears no indications of specifications, stops and keyboard changes, which fluctuate improvisationally, and are particular to each instrument. Other than that, the style is composite, in the sense that at the outset, the work seems to take off in a traditional manner, but now and then the musical discourse veers off tangentially, albeit flowingly, for the sake of variety. A second shorter movement was added in August 2021, under the title Prayer, without any particular religion in mind, it's just that this piece is slow, concentrated, and introspective - and playable, for once.
