Prior to this publication Lefébure-Wély published in 1841 another Method to play the instrument invented by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll and favorably tested by Rossini, called the 'Poïkilorgue' (from the Greek poïkilos, meaning variegated) or Expressive Organ. -Jurabe.
