Misc. Notes
|
There are instrumental and vocal parts in both E minor and G minor - reflecting Chorton and Kammerton. While the vocal and string parts are basically the same, the oboe parts in both arias are different. Performers may choose the version to perform based on the pitch they wish to use.

Navigation etc.
RISM has 2 entries for this work, neither of which is for an autograph manuscript. Both list 4 solo voices, not 2, and they differ as to the presence of a chorus as well. Further, the entry that shows a chorus has no wind parts. The entry without chorus has 2 oboes. This page is tagged for 2 options -- voices (generically), chorus, strings, continuo, and voices (generically), orchestra. Hopefully an autograph manuscript scan will at some point be uploaded so the tag can be correct to whatever is in that version.
