Extra Information *The appellation "Gavotte des moutons" is not original. An early occurrence is in a concert review in "Le Ménestrel" (12 April 1868), mentioning an arrangement (for violin, cello & piano) of "Les moutons du Père Martini" by Emile Norblin. This arrangement was published in 1869 (see BNF catalogue).
