Comparing the recording on CBC (conducted by Bernardi) with the 1957 one conducted by Helffer (on Musidisc) - 15 minutes vs. 23 minutes- the 2nd and 3rd movements are almost the same length, but the Allegro molto on CBC is about 4 minutes, under Helffer it's almost 10. Hrm. Hrrm. Wait, what? -- ES
